The United Nations is seeking highly qualified nationals of certain countries for employment in order to achieve greater geographical balance of its professional staff. Internships
UNRIC Brussels is looking for qualified interns for a period of three to six months. Applicants should have a good academic background in communications, journalism, international relations, marketing or political science. Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills in one of the two UNRIC working languages - English or French. Knowledge of other languages of the Western European region is desirable.

Interns will work for one of the Regional desks at UNRIC. The application should therefore clearly indicate for which desk the intern is applying: Benelux/EU, France, Greece, Italy, Nordic countries, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom & Ireland.

UNRIC does not provide financial support for interns. All successful applicants are expected to make their own arrangements for travel to Brussels, lodging and living expenses during the internship period.
